does anyone have any suggestions on how to conquer the water goal. Tuesday I managed 7 ant it was just before bed. the next morning i woke up with a hangover. I drank too much the day before- ha ha. But really does it have to be WATER? can we have unsweetened or artificially sweetened drinks like cool aid, lemon aid, sodas or Herb teas? anything but plane water, please??? yes I agree Milk, fruit or vegitable juices or water mellon does not count...
I love the page Dee - It will really help us keep track of what we have done or need to do.

Oh that water.. It definitely can be difficult. I tend to drink lots of water on a regular basis but even I have had to up my intake. I have substituted Iced Tea for some of my water. Considering I can drink more of that in one sitting and it is comprised entirely of water, I thought that would be ok. I have 2 other suggestions to make drinking the water a bit easier.
1) Lemon water: Made with fresh squeezed lemon juice or with the bottled lemon juice. If you don't put too much you can drink it with out needing sweetener. Lemon water is a natural diuretic helps to flush out the toxins better than plain water plus it is helps with the "water hangover"
2) Crystal Light!: They come in handy packets designed for the 16.8 oz water bottles and come in 15 different flavors. They are only 5 calories per serving so you don't have to feel bad about drinking them and they are sugar free.
Be careful, be sure that you are actually drinking the amount of water you think you are. Ice displaces the water in the glass and if you aren't eating the ice or drinking it when it melts you aren't drinking the full amount of water. In fact, depending on the amount of ice in the glass, it could be almost half of what you think!
